       His Excellency acquaints the Gentlemen of the Council

     that he now called them together in order to deliver up the

     Charge of the Government to his Excellency Collo Nath

     Blakiston whom his Majesty has been Graciously pleased to

     appoint Govr & Commander in chief of this Province & that

     he is sorry that the Season of the year will not admit of any

     Solemnity wherewithal to honour the publishing of the said

     Commission

       Produced & read the honble John Povey Esqr his Letter

     of the 27th of October last relating to Navigation Bonds

     Whereupon ordered as heretofore ordered that his MajstYs

     Atty General take care to keep the Iudgments upon such

     Navigation Bonds in force that his Majesty may receive no

     prejudice for want thereof

       Upon reading the other part of the said Letter wherein it

     is said that George Muschamp Esqr has not taken care to

     send home the publick accot of the Country Revenue the

     said Esqr Muschamp is sent for & being asked says he

     has received no particular Orders therefore but has trans

     mitted the said accot until March last & will now transmit the

     rest as fast as he can get them from the Secrys Office

       George Plater & George Muschamp Esqrs make oath to p. 196

     their Several Accots lists of Shipping &Ca Ordered that what

     Collectors & Naval Officers has not made oath to their

     Accots & Lists of Shipping that they make oath to the

     same before the next adjacent Counsellor

       Came his Excellency Nath Blakiston Esqr & produced

     his Majestys Royal Commission under the Great Seal of

     England bearing date at Westminster the nineteenth day

     of October in the tenth year of his Majestys reign Consti

     tuting & appointing his said Excellency Collo Blakiston to

     be his Majestys Captain General & Commander in chief

     in & over this his Province of Maryland

       Whereupon Several Commissions & Letters &Ca being

     produced read the Commission appointing several Persons to

     Administer the oath appointed by the Act of Parliament

     of the 7th & 8th years of his present Majstys Reign intituled
