                    372 Proceedings of the Council of Maryland, 1721.

               

           Lib. X.  Meadows that he nailed up the door of the out house aforesd

                    and Barred up the door of the dwelling House so as it Could

                    not be Opened without great force and that when he returned

                    the next time to his said plantation he found the dwelling

                    house door open and a Taylors shop made of his Out house

                    or Badd Stove

                      This deposition taken at Adam Short [Signum]

                    Bohemia Landing Septr the

                                   21st 1721

               

                             Before me

                                  Phile: Lloyd

               

                      Whereupon his Honour the Governor desires the Advice

                    of this Board Concerning the premises mentioned in the said

                    deposition

                      Resolved that Notice be given the said Adam Short that

                    there will be a Council held on the second day of Novr next

                    to hear his Complaint concerning the premises mentioned in

                    the deposition aforesaid and at which time he is required to

                    give his attendance and to give notice to all persons under

                    the same Circumstance with him that they are likewise re

                    quired to give their Attendance at the same in Order that

                    this Board may then do what they shall Iudge proper in the

                    Affair.

             p. 18  His Honour the Governor desires the advice of this Boarde

                    what will be a proper time to prorogue the Assembly to

                      Resolved the first Tuesday of December next Whereupon

                    its Ordered that a proclamation be prepared to prorogue the

                    Assembly to that time Accordingly which proclamation being

                    prepared is as follows vizt

                                 A Proclamation

                      Whereas the present General Assembly of this Province

                    now stands prorogued until the third tuesday in October

                    instant I have thought fit by and with the Advice of his Lord-

                    ships the right honble the Lord proprietarys honble Council

                    further to prorogue the said General Assembly until the first

                    tuesday in December next Given at the City of Annapolis

                    under his Lordships the right honble the Lord Proprietarys

                    Greater Seal at Arms the 13th day of October in the 8th year

                    of the reign of our Sovereign Lord King George and in the

                    6th of our dominion &c Annoq Dom 1721

                                              God save the King &

                      Cha: [Seal] Calvert     his Lordship
