    Proceedings of the Council of Maryland, 1705. 191

  

   James Keech being asked what inductive Reasons he had to Lib. C. B.

   write Such Letters to express himself in so Envious as manner

   against his Excellency

     The said Mr Keech answers that if he has done any thing p. 41

   amiss he humbly Beggs pardon for it But Declares he will not

   acknowledge the Copys unless his owne hand Appears against

   him.

     Whereupon was produc'd Coll Nicholsons Letter to his Ex

   cellency attesting them to be Copys of Said Mr Keeches Letters

   to himself &c

     To which Mr Keech makes no Answer and is thereupon

   Ordered to withdraw.

     The Board taking into Consideration W Keeches behaviour

   in this matter Do order that he be bound to his appearance at

   the Next Provinciali Court & good behaviour in the meantime.

   bona jure Repressaliarum vel belli capta aut Seizita Specialliter

   Constituti ad petitionem procuratoris Dominae nostrae Reginae

   Commissionem vobis scu aliquibus e vobis vestrum fleri ad

   Effectum subsequentem subq modo & formâ infra scriptis

   Decreverit Institia id poscente vobis igitur seu aliquibus

   duobus vestrum harum serie potestatem concedimus &

   elargimur & mandamus quatenus non Omittatis quum pro

   quibuscumq bonis rebus mercibus & mercimonijs nec non

   pro apparat & access: Navium quarumcunq quocunq modo

   pro praeda Captorum vel Seizitorum vel Imposterum capien

   dorum vel seizandorum & ad dictam provinciam & Terri

   torium de Maryland & Destrictis eundem adductorum vel

   Adducendor aut imposteru m Capiendorum vel Seizandor.
