Mr Salter & Mr Bradley from the house to acquaint his Excy
that they have nothing more at prsent before ym
His Excy is Advis'd by her Matys councill to Dissolve this
prsent Genll Assembly & to call a New one some time in Sep-
tember next
Mr Tench & Mr Smith Sent to tell Mr Speaker & the Mem-
bers of the house that his Excy Expects that they should
imediately attend him in councill.
Whereupon Mr Speaker & the house & Mr Speaker [sic]
presented to his Excy the Govr the Acts of this Sessions vizt

An Act of Recognition [&c.]

To all which his Excy was pleas'd to Assent en-
dorsing them Severally as follows vizt

Maryland May the 3d 1704.
On behalf of her most Sacred Maty Anne by the Grace of
God of England Scotland France & Ireland & the Dominions
thereto belonging Queen Defender of the Faith &c. I will
this to be a Law.
And then subscribed them & Seald them with the Great
Scale of the province in prsence of the Assembly After wch his
Excy was pleasd to say

I Thanke you on her Majestyes behalfe for your hearty
Endeavrs this present Sessions, and assure you I have not the
least reason to be Dissatisfyed with yor proceedings, tho' I
could have wished this Sessions might haue continued soe
long, as to haue answered her Majestyes Royall instructions
But for that the Trade and Shippeing requires you att your
respectiue habitaons, I shall be att prsent contented with the
Expectaon of seeing you againe some few moneths hence, and
now being advised by her Majestyes honble Councill that itt
will be to the Satisfaction of the inhabitants to haue anew
Election this prsent Grail Assembly, haueing continued for
