It being Experienced that the fund raised by the present
Act of Assembly now on Foot for Imposts are very inconsid-
erable towards the Defraying the Necessary Charges of the
Province, It is recomended to your house that a further
Impost of three pence p hogshed be laid on Tobbo Exported
as being the least burthensome to the Poor and Necessi-
tous People of the Province and Scarcely perceptible to those
that are Capable of Shipping Tobbacco whereby the Publick
Charge of the Province will be the Easier Defrayed
Signed p Order W Bladen Cl Concil.
