      whereunto is to be made as well by the Worshipfull the Lib. H. D.

      Justices & Grand Jury of each County Court after the Sev

      erall County Courts to be held in March next, as by the

      Sherriffs who are then also directed and Comanded to make

      this Order publick, and that the same be given in charge by

      the Justices to the Severall Grand Juries for their answer to

      be return'd by the Sherriffs aforesd unto this Board wth all

      convenient speed.

        It is also further Ordered that like inquiry be made and

      answer and return as above whether his Exncy hath often or

      ever by an Arbitrary and Military Power seiz'd mens Estates

      and Writings, except some papers of Mr Iohn Cood & W

      Robt Mason which he is ready to Justify.

        Ordered that inquiry be made by the Vestrymen of the

      several Parishes within this Province, whether his Exncy hath

      putt the Countrey to an unreasonable charge by building of

      Churches too big & too chargeable for this Countrey, and

      whether the same are scituated upon Land belonging to

      private persons, and in places not proper nor convenient to

      build Churches on; and whether the 40 ll of tobo p poll setled

      on the Church & Clergy throughout the Province, hath ever

      been applyed by his EXnCY otherwise then as by Law intended;

      and whether his Exncy ever ordered the Clergy to be defrauded

      to the prejudice of carrying on so pious a worke in the Coun

      trey; The Sherriffs being hereby commanded to serve the

      Vestry of each Parrish within their respective Countyes wth

      this Order, to wch the Vestrys are to make return accordingly

      unto this Board wth all convenient speed.

        Vpon information of Hugh Ryly of Prince Georges County

      concerning a Piscattoway Indian (that was brought up at W

      Sam” Chews) being lately in that County & frighten'd away

      by some threatning discourses and had severall things taken

      from him; Ordered that Mr Rob' Tylor one of the Magistrates

      of that County who is said to have some cognizance of the

      matter, be and appear before his EXnCY in Councill at the Port

      of Annapolis the 10th day of March next and bring wth him

      the Person tht took away those things from the said Indian,

      in order that this Board may receive a right information about

      the same, and tht the Sherriff of the said County give notice

      to the said Mr Tylor accordingly.
