By the Comissrs for Executing the Office of Lord high Admirall of England Ireland &ca Comrs of the Whereas in pursuance of his Majesties pleas- Admiralties power to his ure signified to us by the Rtt honorble Mr Secre Exncy for tary Trumball, we have appointed Sr Thomas Constituting Laurence Barronnett, to be Judge, Mr Henry Den- Admiralty Officers in ton Register Mr Thomas Collier Marshall and Mr Maryland. Edward Chilton advocate of the Vice Admiralty of the Collony of Maryland. You are therefore, hereby empow ered and directed to give unto them Comissions for their said Employments respectively; and in case of the death, or ina bility by sickness, or otherwise, of any of the said persons, you are to appoint others in their roome, and transmitt to uss the names of such persons as you do so appoint, Dated at the Admiralty Office this 29th of Aprill 1697.
