       This house humbly desires yor Exncy will give Ordr that the

     County Court Commissions be Enlarged the limitting of them

     to tenn thousand pounds of Tobo or ffifty pounds Sterl. being

     a Great Grievance to this Province therefore we desire they

     may be as formerly.

       Ordered that the above matter be Referred to the King's

     Lawyrs for them to make Report whether the Law does not

     Limitt aliready the sd Commissions and whether the Same

     may be proper to be done.

             The Same Came Reported as followes,

       Vizt It Seemeth to me that such a Commission as within p. 509

     desir'd may be Granted it not being against any Act of

     Assembly.

     Mats Sollicitor Genll and that it be Quaerid what the former

     Custom was and whether it is the Houses Opinion that all the

     County Coifiissions shall be Renewed.

     Commission is Enlarged it will be Regular to Enlarge all

     the former Custom was Variable Some times Enlarged and

     some times Contracted were the County Commissions which

     is humbly Submitted.
