By the house of Delegates July 13^th 1699:

This house humbley Desires that yo^r Ex^cy will be pleased
to appoynt the same Gentlemen of his Maj^tyes Honble Councill
that were on the Comittee to Consider the Indian affaire to
Ioyne againe w^th the same members of this house to Consider
of the Matters Concerning the Rangers being called or some
Methods being prescribed if the same shall not be Called in to
Supply them w^th Provisions Signed p Ord^r

Ord^rd that Maj^r Walter Smith be added to that Comittee
Ord^rd that Maj^r Tho. Smith & the rest of the Gent of that
Comittee carry the s^d Message & Ioyne in the said Comittee.

Ord'd that the bills read this morning be sent to his Ex^cy
and Councill

By the house of Delegates Iuly 13^th 1699:

The Bills herewith sent were before this Sessions but
Temporary acts and Expired the Last Sessions & according
to his Maj^ties Royall instructions are now made perpetuall
w^thout any other alteration & have been read twice in this
house and approved of.

& say they have Deliverd their Message.
The Comittee of Laws Enter the house and P^rsent Sev^rall
Bills.

house & bring Back the bills sent by M^r Hall & M^r Cambell
Endorsed read the third Time & will pass & Ord^rd to be
Engrossed.
A Bill for restraining the Extortions of Sherifs Depty Sherifs
&c read the first time
