Maryland ss Port of Annapolis Iune the 29th 1699.
Whereas the Genll Assembly of this Province upon the
Twelfth day of October Last was by his Excy ffrancis Nichol-
son Esqr his Matys Capt Genll & Late Govr in Cheife of this
Province Prorouged untill the twenty Eight day of Iune fol-
lowing Yet upon further Consideracon his Excy Nathaniell
Blakistone Esqr his Matys Prsent Govr thought fitt further to
Prorouge them vntill the twenty ninth day of Iune following
and to that End Issued out his Mastys Writt of Prorougation
the tennor whereof followeth in these words following (Viz)
William the third by the Grace of god of England Scotland
ffrance and Ireland King Defender of the faith To our Coun-
cillors the Delegates and Representatiues of the Sevrall Coun-
tyes and Burgeses of the Citty of St Maryes in our province of
Maryland Gretting whereas vpon the twentyth day of October
Last Wee thought fitt to Prorouge you vntill this Twenty
Eight day of Iune instant To Convene your Selfs at the port
of Annapolis then & there to Consent to such things as should
by the favour of Allmighty god happen to be done and En-
acted for the Good and well fare of this Province Now Know
yee that for divers weighty Reasons thereunto moveing wee
have thought fitt and Doe by these prsents further Prorouge
you untill the Day after the Date hereof being the twenty
Ninth day of Iune Instant at wch time & at the place afsd wee
will Require you that you Conveye your Selfs to the End afsd
Witness our Selfs in our high Cort of Chancery at the port of
Annapolis this twenty Eighth day of Iune in the Eleventh
yeare of our Reigne Annoq Dom: 1699.
