The Address of the house this day Sent by Mr Harris &
others, representing Some grieveances &c This Board require
that all other Matters of tht Nature Lying before you may be
Sent up hither that a propper Answer may in Due ordr be
giuen, reminding wth all that no answer has yett been giuen
to part of a Message from this board for transmitting hither
the Comittee of Greiuances Iournalls, neither haue you sent
any manner of Answer to Sevll other Matters proposed.

In Answer to the resolve of the house this day Sent con-
cerning the Millitia of this Majties Province, This Board doe
Solemnly declare that if any Misfortune or Accident should
happen to this his Majties Gouernmt (which God forbidd) for
want of Regulating the Millitia, According to proposalls
herewth Sent, (from wch Regulation in all [probability] the
Country might be secured) you are the psons chargeable as
likewise for wht fines the people will lay to for not complying
wth the prsent Law
His Excellcy is pleased to direct his Majtys honoble Councll to
consider and draw up Some heads of proposealls Suitable agt
to Morrow Morning
Mr Collier Navll Officer of the port of Wm Stadt & Hen
Denton Navll Officer of the port of Annapolis made oath to
their Acctts in prsence of the Comittee of Accotts Capt Gilbert
Lievesley came and made oath before his Exncy in Councill,
that he once passed a Navigacon Bond in this Province abt 13 :
or 14: years agoe; for which he brought in a Certificate of
Discharge next yeare & dd it to Mr Henry Low.
