Matys Service att all times and Singular Love to your Excys
person is (by the blessing of God) a sure fund for your Excy
to trust to Our hearts and purses will be allways open, Espe-
cially when we see the money raised Applyed without Oppo-
sition to the designed uses we have made provision for a Con-
stant Supply of Money we may dayly Expect our Stock to
increase if the publick leavy be not very small the Generall
Leavy will be very great in the countys
A fund is never wanting so long as we have willing hearts
Therefore with humble Submission to your Excys Comand
we once more make our Address that all the money may be
Applyed to the defraying this Leavy att Ten Shill p Cent for
Tobbo it will have a Round Sume in the sherriffs Sallary and
the Charge of Apportioning the Leavy in a Great Measure

A Bill for Enrollmt of Conveyances
A Bill relating to Servants and Slaves Assented to by the

sage Vizt

By the Govr & Councill in Assembly
Iuly the 22d 1699

Gent Your Message by Mr Symon Willmer and others has
been read and Considered att this Board and altho you Seem
unsatisfyed yet notwithstanding all the Comissions of his
Excy and this Board more then ever was known and Your
returning allmost all the offers made from hence with refusall
Especially the Bill for Marriages after the reasons Given

yet we have att Your repeated Instances again taken the
matter into Consideration and Intending if possible to Gratify
Your Desires, have resolved
1 That if the money proposed his Excy may be Imediately
pd and not delayed as you propound
2 That if there be power left with his Excy and Councill
with the Comittee to raise money or Tobbo in Case of any
Emergency to defray all Charges thereof
Then we Consent that all the money in Bank may be
Applyed to defray the publick Charge wch Notwithstanding we
Cannot advise to as proper or for the Countrys Good
