By his Excy the Governed and Councill in Assembly
Iuly the 8th 1699.
Gentn
Your message by Mr Saunders and Mr Tilghman I have
Comunicated to his Matys honble Councill who upon Con-
sideration of the Subject, advise.
1. That as his Matys pleasure is that I shall keep so Like-
wise that I shall use the publick Seale and that necessaryly
Imploys my hearing and Iudgeing of Chancery Causes with
such Assistance as shall be required.
2. That for that purpose two of his Matys honble Councill
shall be Ioined with me for my Assistance therein.
3. That if any person rest not satisfyed with any Decree
they shall have Liberty to Exhibite their Bill of Review in the
Determining whereof I shall have the Advice and Assistance
of a full Quorum of his Matys honble Councill not less then five
in Number.
4. That if either party are dissatisfyed with such finall
Decree they may Appeale to his Maty in Councill according
to his Royall Instructions in that point if the Matter in differ-
ence amount to the Sufne Limitted.
5. That if it be doubted any Inconveniency may Arise by
this Method the Law may for once by his Matys Royall In-
structions be made Temporary till time and Experience in the
practice has gain'd Approbation; or not.

house with the following Message.

By the house of Delegates Iuly the 8th 1699.

The houses Message by the honble Col Iohn Addison and
Thomas Brook Esqr was here Received and read and this
house humbly reprsent that as well the last Session of Assem-
bly as this prsent Sessions the Law for Ascerteining the Bounds
of Land was Maturely and Deliberately Advised on by a Com-
ittee Especially selected Consisting of one of the Most know-
ing in Land Affairs and Chosen out of the Delegates and
Reprsentatives of each respective Countys and for the refer-
ring of a Matter of so great Importance to the Iustices of the
respective County Courts and to such a popular Approbacon
it is feared that the true intent and meaning thereof will be
Strained according to the private Interest of Severall private
psons Contrary to the true Intent and meaning of the said
Bill therefore this house humbly prays that yor Excy will be
