of and Concurr with you therein

The said Gent Returne & say they have Deld their Message
Ordered That Thomas Laurence Esqr and Charles Green-
bery Gent do appear att the Board on Tuesday next upon the
Order of their Excys the Lords Iustices relateing to One hun-
dred and fifty pounds Claimed by Sr Thomas Laurence from
Col Nicholas Greenbery's Estate as prsident of the Councill in
the Years 1694 and 1695.
The Board Adjourned till two of the Clock
in the afternoon.

The Councill mett prsent as in the morning.
Came from the house Mr Harris and Mr Hicks who bring
the reporte of the Comittee appointed for inquireing into the
reasons that obstruct the building of the Church and freeschool
att Annapolis. By which reporte it Appears that Major Dorsey
the undertaker has neglected to provide Brick and Timber for
the building the Church and also to gett Workmen to finish the
free school and that the Comittee are of opinion Major Dorsey
should be sent for to Answer his neglect.
Upon the said Reporte was Endorsed

By the house of Delegates Iune the Ist 1699.

This house do Concurr with the opinion of the sd Comittee
and have resolved That the Serjant Attendant shall be sent for
him to be here on Monday Morning ten of the Clock if your
Excy shall be pleased to Consent thereto.

Ordered that the sd Reporte be thus Endorsed and returned
to the house of Delegates Vizt

By his Excy the Govr and Councill in Assembly
Iuly Ist 1699.

The within reporte haveing been read here this Board do
Concurr with the Sentiments of the Comittee thereupon and
do Consent that the sd Major Dorsey be sent for to give the
house the satisfaction required
