Thursday 12th August 1779

Present as on Yesterday
Ordered that the Commissary of Stores deliver to John
Nicholas a 9 Mo Soldier in the 7 Regt Discharged, Twenty
nine Pounds, ten shillings in Cloathing, Peter Shaver a 9 Mo
Soldr in the same Regt Dischd Twenty six Pounds in Cloath-
ing and also to William Harvey a 9 Mo Soldr in the 6th Regt
Dischd Twenty Pounds in Cloathing due them by the Act of
Assembly to procure Troops for the American Army
That the said Commissary of Stores deliver to Capt William
Campbell 62 pair Overalls & 62 Coatees for his Compy of
Matrosses in Annapolis
That the western shore Treasurer pay to Samuel Hughes
Esqr Twenty one Pounds, six shillings and three Pence for the
use of Nicholas Hockey p Acct passed by the Depy Audr
That the said Treasurer pay to Colo Richard Harwood nine
Pounds five shillings due him p Acct passed by the Depy
Aud.
That the said Treasurer pay to Captain Thomas Watkins
Forty Pounds eight shillings due him and his Company
whilst on Duty at the City of Annapolis the i6th of May 79 p
Acct passed by the Depy Auditor

Friday I 3th August 1779

Present as on Yesterday
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Elizabeth
Tuck, Twenty six Pounds, five shillings due her p Account
passed by the Aud. Genl
That the Commissary of Stores deliver to Lieut Edward
Duvall of the 2d Regt as much serge Denim as will face a
Coat and make a pr Breeches and Waistcoat and also 2 pair of
Shoes
Commission of a Letter of Marque and Reprisal issued to
Levin Trippe commander of the Sloop Isabella 60 Tons
burthen, mounting 6 Carriage Guns, 4 swivels and 8 small
Arms, belonging to William Neill of Baltimore

Sir.
The same Day of our Rect of your Letter of the 13th July,
requesting that the 5000 Barls of Flour, which by your former
Letter you desired might be kept in this State, might then be
forwarded to Wm Smith Esqr of Baltimore, who would receive
