and also the further Sum of Six thousand Pounds to pay for
Grain & Flour Purchased by him to be Accounted for
That the said Treasurer pay to James Bordley Esqr Twenty
five Pounds for the use of Peter Rich due him p Account
passed by the Aud. Genl
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to James Roper
Seventy seven Pounds, twelve shillings and six Pence per
Account passed by the Depy Aud.
That the said Treasurer pay to Colo Henry Hollingsworth
Forty one Pounds for the use of Samuel Evans per Acct
passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Samuel Gilpin Twenty three
thousand, eight hundred and forty four Pounds, seventeen
shillings and nine pence p Acct Examd & passed by the
Aud. General
Commission issued to Dyre Betton appointed Surveyor of
Queen Anns County

Monday 2d August 1779

Present as on Saturday
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Capt
Beriah Maybury one hundred and thirty two Pounds, fifteen
shillings and nine pence balance of Acct passed by the Audi-
tor Genl and also the further Sum of One hundred Pounds on
Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Johnson Junr One
hundred and fifty Pounds for 3 Mo Salary as Clk to the Gov-
ernor and Council to the Ist Instant
That the said Treasurer pay to William Watson One hun-
dred and twenty Pounds, due him per Acct passed by the
Depy Aud.
That the said Treasurer pay to Como Thomas Grason Fifty
seven Pounds, three shillings and six Pence for the use of 4
Men of the Chester Galley per Pay roll examined and passed
by the Depy Aud.
Samuel Chase's Receipt for 200 3 pound Ball, 30 Pikes, &
16 4 pound ball (filed)
