[Council to Col. Ware.]
In Council Annapolis 31st May 1779
Sir.
It is very difficult to get you any Thing from hence for
Want of Carriage. We inclose you an Order on Colo Barnes
for 100lbs of Powder which you'll make use of, if you should
want, he has more than he'll have Occasion for. If the Enemy
should come up the Bay, we imagine Baltimore & this Place
will most likely be visited by them; we have applied what
Arms we had, by much too few, with that View, but we hope
to be able to strenghen you a little soon in Musquets.
Colo Francis Ware We are &ca
P. S. We send you 500 Gun Flints.
