Sum of Thirty five Pounds Eight Shillings for the use of
Richard Lawrence per Acct passed by the Depy Aud.
That the said Treasurer pay to John Shaw, Twenty one
Pounds for the use of James Shaw per Accts passed by the
Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to John Randall two hundred
& Sixty six Pounds ninteen shillings and four Pence bal. of
Acct passed by the Aud. Genl and also the further Sum of
Five thousand Pounds on Account
That the said Treasurer pay to William Hyde Sixty two
Pounds ten shillings due him for 2 Mo Salary as Assistant Cl
to the Council to the 5 Inst
That the Commissary of Stores deliver to Robert Swails
a 9 Mo Soldr in the 3d Regt Discharged the amt of Twenty one
Pounds eight shillings & nine Pence in Cloathing due him by
an Act of Assembly to procure Troops for the American
Army
That the said Commissary of Stores deliver to John Randall
Clothier for this State 1000 pair Shoes and 350 pr Overalls
John Randall is hereby appointed Sub or State Clothier for
this State in Pursuance of and according to the Resolution of
Congress of the twenty third Day of March last

Philadelphia 12th May 1779
Sir
As it is of importance that the Operations of the Enemy
should be known to every State which may be particularly
affected by them, I now transmit to your Excellency a copy
of a Letter from General Washington respecting a late embark-
ation of Troops at New York. Their destination is uncertain,
but it is generally supposed they are bound to the Southern
part of this Continent.

Sir:
I do myself the honour of transmitting to your excellency
