Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Cap
Thos Beall, One Hundred & fifty Pounds for the use of &
due to Lt Danl Cresap of the Rifle Batt. p Resol of Genl Assy
Permission is hereby granted to Andrew Ragg an Inhabit-
ant of this State to go with his Daughter into the City of New
York in order to get a Passage from thence to Gr Britain on
his obtaing a proper Pass for that purpose for which he is
hereby recommended.

[Council to Grason.]

In Council Annapolis 30th March 1779
Sir.
We are informed by a Letter received to Day from Colo
Hooper, that Meister and others of his Stamp have committed
a Robbery on Mr Arthur Whitely at his Plantation at Hooper's
Streights; the Villains are supposed to have gone with their
Plunder to Smith's Island. Colo Hooper proposes to send a
Party of Militia after them; possibly he may want your Assist-
ance to second the Operations of the Militia; if he should
make such a Request, we wish you to give your Aid. Meister
and his Gang are of the Sett who harbour in Armimessex and
have plundered several Vessels as well as committed other
Outrages
