In Council 13th Augt 1778
Sir
Colo Baron Bose of Genl Pulaski's Legion, has applied to us
for an Order on you for a Piece or two of blue or grey Cloth
for the use of himself and his Officers. If you have such as
will suit, we request you to deliver either one or two Pieces as
may be desired, giving a Memo of the Cost of it and taking
and transmitting us a Receipt. If you have not the Cloth by
you, the Gent may get furnished at least as much to their sat-
isfaction in Philadelphia.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer Pay to Robert
Casey one hundred and thirty two Pounds due him per Accts
passed by A Genl
That the said Treasurer Pay to James Artis Twenty three
Pounds per Acct passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer Pay to James Boyle four hundred
and fifty nine Pounds seventeen shillings & one Penny and
six hundred and sixty two Pounds four shillings due and for
the use of the Crew of the Balt. Galley from the Ist Febry to 1
Aug. 1778 per Accts passed by the Aud. Genl

Sir.
We are desirous of knowing what Money is in the Treasury,
and therefore request you will transmit us, by the first Oppor-
tunity, an Account of the whole Sum at present in the Treasury
of the Eastern Shore, distinguishing what has been received
on Account of the Assessments.
