[Council to W. Hemsley.]
In Council Annapolis 30th June 1778.
Sir
Lieut Benton promised to call on you and to take under his
Command, the Men who are to march to Camp, from your
County. If he should fail calling, we request you to join
them to any Men marching from some other County. The
Act of Assembly describes the Men who are compelable to
march, on their not paying the Fines. The Deserters from
the Militia are subject to the Judgment of a Court Martial.
The Militia Accounts must be passed by the Auditor and
then, an Order will issue from this Board for Payment. We
refer you to James Scarborough for what passed, relative to
himself

Present as on yesterday.
Ordered That the western shore Treasurer pay to Edward
Coll Thirty Pounds one shilling per Acct passed by the Prin-
cipal Cl to the A G.
Ordered that the Commissary of Stores deliver to Edward
Coll a Private in Capt Dorseys Compy in the second Regiment
taken at Fort Washington and released on Parole, Cloth for a
Suit of Cloaths and Trimmings, 1 pr shoes 1 pr stockings & 2
shirts
That the western shore Treasurer pay to Richard Bond one
hundred and forty two Pounds two shillings for the use of
Capt David Ricketts & his Company and the further sum of
ninty six pounds fifteen shillings and seven pence for the use of
Hezekiah South and his Compy per accts passed by the Prinl
Cl to the A G.
That the said Treasurer pay to Edward Green Thirty Pounds
per Account passed by the Principal Clerk to the Aud. Genl
