p. 441 It being proposed by his EXECY whats to be done come in after with the Ships that shall be left behind or that shall the ffleets happen to Come in after the ffleet is Sayl'd, whether Sayling. they shall be stopt to go in a ffleet together or to goe Single as they get ready, and which will Conduce most to his Mats Service, Where upon after a full Debate therein had it is Resolved and Ordered that if there should not happen such a number of Ships and of Good Countenance as were upon Making up the ifieet last year that then they be per- Whitehall mitted to Sayle as fast as got Ready pursuant to fformer Ordrs & Advice in Councill.
Ordr abt the Assembly Ordered (if in Case no Extraordinary Occasion being pro- happen out) that the Assembly be prorogued for rogued if Some further time; and that timely notice be given Occasion. thereof. Ordr abt the Vpon Representation, Ordered that none of the Range snot Rangers imploy'd in the publick Service of the rested Countrey be lyable to any Arrest for debt during their being Actually in Service; but that where any Debt is Claim'd from them so that they will not make Complyance, that then upon Complaint to his Exncy care will be taken that Whitehall such Debtor be turn'd out and another person put in his Stead; hereby Commanding the Sherriffs of Charles, Baltemore & Prince Georges Counties to take due notice hereof and pub lish the same accordingly.
Ordr to the Ordered that the Comrs of the respective County Severall County Courts of this Province Cause a Grand Jury to be
Courts to Ad- Summoned in Janry next, and that if please God, Journ &ca such weather should happen that the Courts cannot
then sit to do business, that they thereupon Adjourn to some time in ffebry without flaile and that the Sherriffs publish this Whitehall Ordr and that the papers and Depositions against Mr Cood and about calling the Assemblys and Raising money be then again Read a new and that the Sherriffs and their Depties Carry Copyes of the sd papers about with them to Satisfye the people for ifear of ffalse Reports; so that if any disturbance should happen, which God fforbid, they cannot pretend igno rance of being fforwarn'd in all these things.
