   Governor & Councill of Maryland doe give Sr Thomas Lau- Lib. C. B.

   rence a Copy of the Articles transmitted against him, and that

   he forthwith returne to this Board his Answer in writeing to

   the said Articles, to the End their Mats pleasure therevpon

   may be knowne, And that in the mean time the said Sr Thomas

   Laurence be Set at Liberty and be restored to his places of

   Counsellor and Judge of the Provinciall Court in Maryland

   and that he Receive noe Molestation or disturbance in the

   Enjoyment of his Office of Secretary of that Provinee, accord

   ing to his Mats Order in Councill of the second of March last.

   And that permission be given in Maryland to Examine all

   Persons that shall Give Evidence in this Matter, without any

   hindrance or discountenance to such Persons as the said Sr

   Thomas Laurence shall desire to be Examined on his behalfe

   Provil Court Ordered that a new Comission for the Provinciall

   Commission

   Order'd to Court be forthwith prepared by Mr Attorney Genera

   be prepared constituteing & appointing Sr Thomas Laurence p. 69

   Baronet Chiefe Justice of the said Court with the Addition of

   Mr John Watson to the former Comission.

                    May the 3d 1694.

   Motion & day. Ordered that the Clerk of the Councill deliver

   Ordr about to the said Sr Thomas Copyes of all papers &

   Charge sent Articles of Charge sent for England against him or

   agt him &Ca any other matters or concerns relateing to the same

   which shall be required by the said Sr Thomas, and all Persons

   he shall desire to be Examined in this Matter pursueant to

   their Maties Ordr of the 28th of September last.
