Coll Addi son & Coll Courts to inquire about Pis cattaway & Whitehall Choptico Indians Land
Lib. H. D. The sd Report was Approved off, and Ordered that the Duty of the sd Wine be collected & Received accordingly.
Ordered that the honoble Coll John Addison & Coll John Courts make inquiry whether ffrancis Marberry of Charles County or any other person or persons have Encroacht vpon the Emperor of pis cattoways Land, as also inquire whose Land the Choptico Indians hold, and vnder what Circum stances they hold the same, and that they make Report thereof to this Board accordingly with all convenient speed.
Coll Courts The honoble Coll John Courts & Thomas Brook & Mr Brooks . . permitted Esqr Representing that the Ships in their parts being to Retire very forward for Sailing, and having Urgent Busi
ness to dispatch away by those ships; therefore Whitehall humbly desire leave of the Board for some short time to Retire
home for to looke after the same, which was accordingly granted & time given them till thursday next to Return in.
