             his Exncy     Register, and Marshall of the Vice Admiralty of

                    that province, I send you inclosed an Authority for

             please to Cause Strict inquiry to be made after the sd Ships

             And to Ordr an Effectuall prosecution to be made both of them

             and their respective Loadings as Tradeing Contrary to the

             Laws of this Kingdom

             Providence. an English built Pink burthen 1 10 Ton called the

             providence Jno Price Master is making Ready for a Voyage to

             the Plantations intending ffirst for Boston from thence to

             Maryland and So back to Scotland We desire you to Cause

             Dilligent Search and inquiry to be made after the Sd Pink in

       340 Proceedings of the Council of Maryland, 1694 97.

             Ordr to an Effectuall Prosecution both of her and the Loading,

             Whereof we Shall expect an Accot from you in Due time
