Lib. H. D. which he was sending to his Excellency your Governr bearing the same Date with this, We therefore have no more to say but refer you to the same & rest Gentl Yor humble Servants Signed by the severall Gentlemen of the Councill that day present
Hen: Den- Vpon the Petition of Henry Denton (Clerk of tons Pet & Ordr for his Mats honoble Councill) being here presented & provll Amer- Read, therein setting forth some extraordinary ciamts &ca Charge & trouble he had been at in preparing
severall Copyes of the Journalls of the Councill and other matters for which he had received no allowance; therefore humbly prayed that the Provinciall Amerciamts due since November Court last to this time (being in the guift of his ExncY & Councill) might be bestowed vpon him, which was accordingly granted him and Ordered that Lists of the same with Executions thereto be given him for the better collection thereof

Greeting.
These are to Certify that Arnaut Lahanne, the Bearer hereof a ifrench Man & Doctor or Chirurgeon of the Pink John of Bordeaux in the Kingdom of ifrance Peter Rivier Commander was taken & brought a prisoner into this province in the sd ship by Capt John Hurle Commander of the ship Providence of London, being a Letter of Marque Man And after some p. z6o short time of Residence here he shipped himself on Board a certain Vessell called the Hope of Maryland (whereof Richard Hill is Master or Commander) for Guinea; from whence have ing returned again into this Province in the sd vessell, he has now shipped himself on Board a certain Briganteen called the ffisher of Maryland, whereof Thomas ffrancis is Master, being bound from hence to Barbadoes, with design (as he informs me) to get to Martinico in Ordr to procure his passage for ifrance, for which he is to apply himself to his Exncy the Governr of Barbadoes so soon as he shall arrive there; Given vnder my hand & Seal this 1th day of October, in the Seaventh year of his Mats Reign, Annoq Domini, 1695.
