                 October the 17th 1694

                        Present

   Provi & His Excency ffrancis Nicholson Esqr and all Mem

   County         .

   Courts bers of their Majties Honobe Councill except Esqr

    Randolph.

     The board proceeds to the Regulateing and Settleing the

   Sevrll Courts wthin this province and in order thereto were

   call'd what Lawyers were to be had for their advice about the

   same who accordingly came

     Then produced and read a Provll Court Comission and

   Dedimus wherevpon his Excency Demands whether that forme

   will Answer in all points, the wch in the Opinion of the Lawyers

   is said to be Sufficient enough Ordered therevpon tht Com- Whitehall

   ission Accordingly Issue wth A Clause to be Add'd to the

   Dedimus to obliedge the Judge of the sd Court to Subscribe to

   the Test as well as take the Oaths, And that one of the Quorum

   and ifour more be Sufficient Numb' to hold Courts And one

   of the Quorum & two more Sufficient Number to Adjourne

   them therein and thereby constituting & Appointing the fol

   lowing persons to be Judges & Justices of the sd Prov' Court

   to hear & determine all Matters brought before them persuant

   to the s'd Comission

     Ordered that Mr Kenelm Cheseldyn & Majr Edwd Dorley Whitehall

   be added to the Honoble Coll Henry Jowles Keeper of the

   Great Seale for the hearing & determining all Matters in

   Chancery.

     Afterwards produced & Read a County Court Corriission

   and Ordered by Advice that the County Court Comissions be

   limited to Ten thousand pound's Tobbo and that no Action be Whitehall

   brought in the sd Courts exceeding the s'd Sume That one of
