nor ffortifications to preserve the same in from fire lightening
& other Casualties therefore such a distribution is thought
most Necessary. They doe likewise agree with the Vote of
the House as to the Land Records by Reason their Mats have
noe particular place nor ffort to keep the same in.
That in the Act for confirmeing the Act of the last Sessions
of Assembly &ca it be said instead of an Authentick Coppy
thereof & that instead of Saying a Transcript it be said the
Transcript.
Act for Repealeing certaine Laws of this province, passed
here, Coll Addison sent to the house to Acquaint them that
this Board desires a Conference wth the House presently.
Act for reviveing Severall Laws &ca passed here.
Mr Speaker with the Members of the House of Burgesses
come up upon the Conference according to the Message sent,
And was first Recomended unto them the following clause to
be aded to the Additionall Act for Religion, Vizt And counter-
signed by the Rt Honoble Charles Earle of Shrowsbury their
Mats principle Secretary of State, together wth his Majties sd
Letter Dated 13th of ffebry 1689/90 and Laws Annexed;
Agreed to.

It is Represented That noe Allowance is made for the
Covncill and Assemblys & in siting to heare Appeales &ca To
wch is answered that there is Allowance made for this Assem-
bly & that there Remaines a Vote of their House for consid-
acon to be had the next Assembly for future allowance.
The Act for Encouragemt of Learning &ca taken into con-
sideracon & Recomended the leaveing out in the last Clause
relateing to their Majties Comissionateing persons &ca:
That the word ministeriall be struck out the wch was
agreed to.
The Act for Confirmeing the Act of the last Sessions of
Assembly &ca Amended by Mr Speaker at the Board accord-
ing to the Aboue Remarkes. Capt Courtneys pet. & Mr
Attorney Genlls Report thereon delivered at the Board to Mr
Speaker, for the Consideracon of the house, Together with
the Bills this day Read.
His Exncy demanding that in case the fforreigne Indians wch
lately came into this Governmt should come again wth intent to
sit downe and seat here, what Answer should be given them ;
Mr Speaker therevpon produced the sence of the House in
writeing as to that particular the which Runes in the following
Words Vizt
