Ordered the Committee of Laws inspect the Act fifor Nav"
Officrs ffees; & take Care to explaine what Security shall be
given by Masters of open Vessells upon taking out their pcr-
mitts and what ffees the officrs shall Receive that Grant the
Same and that a penalty be therein imposed upon such
Officer as shall Exact more ffees than allowed by the said Act.
Ordered th' for the Encouragemt of those persons that have
or shall build Ships or other Vessells within this province
being inhabitants within the Same; The Act for the Imposi-
tion of ffour pence p Gallon be amended according to the
Resolve of this house in March last.
Ordered the Publick Treasurers of this Province produce
their Accots to this house on Tuseday next.
Ordered the Committee of Laws prepare a bill for Releife
of those p'sons that have paid the Countrey Dues and Shipt
of Tobo which hath been taken or otherwise perished at Sea.
Ordered Thomas Tench Esqr Admtr of his Exncy Governr
Copley decd: appear before the house on Tuseday next to
Render an Accot of 70000lb of Tobo Supposed to be lodged in
Governr Copleys hand by the Genll Assembly of this province
in may 1692.
Ordered Coll: Herman acquaint Majr Hamond and Capt
Hill how farr he hath proceeded towards Erecting and ffinish-
ing the New Court house who are to Report the Same to his
Exncy and the honrble Councill.
Resolved a Bill be prepared to Confirm the persons Titles
who have taken up lots in Towns and built thereon according
to fformer Acts of Assembly.

Resolved because of the Uncertainty of the Arrivall of the
fHeet, the Ships now in the Countrey when full may be
cleared as his Exncy shall think fit.
Resolved Nemine contradicente that his Exncy be desired to
issue his Proclamation against the Exportation of Corn.
Resolved the Commissionrs of the Port of Annapolis lay out
a Lot for the Ministr according to proposall.
That his Exncy would be pleased to issue Proclamation Sig-
nifying that all persons that shall vse such illegall and false
