His Excy in Councill is also pleased to Signifye and does
in particular recomend, that as well the severall members of

the house of Burgess, as of this Board, as likewise all officers

and persons of fashion doe put themselves in mourning for
the said Solemnity and yeare ensueing.

The house adjournes for an houre.

The house again mett and ordered to be called over.
Were absent, Capt Waughop, Mr Saunders, Mr Hutchinson,
Mr Ferry, Mr Dickson, Mr Pollard and Collo Codd.
Capt William Dent and Major Thompson bring in theire
Reporte as followeth. To the Honble the Speaker, and the
Burgesses of the house of Assembly.
In obedience to your comand we have inspected the Jour-
nalls of the assembly, held in September and Febry 1694 in
6th and 7th years of their Matys Raign.
And thereupon we Reporte as followeth.
That a Report was made by the committee of priviledges
at the assembly at St Marys 1694, that the method for
Settling Glebes and Chappells of each parish mentioned in
the 12th folio of the said Journall was referred to the next
Sessions of Assembly.

That a conditionall Law be proposed about prosecuting
Runaway Servants and Debtors, runing out of Virginia into
this province, and out of this province into Virginia, in case a
Law of the same nature be consented to by the Governor of
Virginia, to be passed there likewise, mentioned in the 30th
folio of the said Journall was referred also.
That the ascertayning the bounds of each Mans lands for
the prevention of law suites, mentioned in the 38th folio of the
sd Journall was referred to the next sessions of Assembly.
That an equall number of Itenerant Justices of the provin-
ciall Court be appointed on each syde the Bay to ride the
circutes as the Judges in England, and to hold their courts on
the Eastern and Western shore, and clerkes appointed to
attend them, and to transmitt their Records to the provinciall
office, mentioned in the 40th folio of the said Journall, was
referred to next sessions of Assembly.
The appointing of a Muster Mar on each syde the Bay with
the settling their ffees, mentioned in the 42d folio of the said
Journall was referred
Colonel Hamiltons Lre together with her Sacred Majesty
the Queens Lre in favor thereof Esqr Neals patent for post
