Newtons point upon Wiccocomaco River in Potomock and so
to proceed on to Aliens Mill from Aliens Mill to Benedict
Leonard Town, from Benedict Leonard Town over Petuxant
River to M^r George Lingans, from M^r Lingans to M^r Larkins's
and so to South River and Annapolis and from thence to go
the Stages and performe the conditions aboue proposed for
the consideration aforsd:
The said John Perry being called in, and the aboue Pro-
posalls read unto him he consented to the same and agreed
to begin his stages at Newtons Point & so forward (God will-
ing) last Munday of June next.
Ordered that Proclamation issue accordingly to give notice
to the Inhabitants of the Countrey of the Agreem^t af^d made,
which pursuant thereto issued, was signed by his Ex^ncy and
passed the Broad Seale of the Province
Read the two following Bills brought with the aforegoing
Messages, Viz^t
An Act for Reviving the Temporary Laws of this Province,
read first time and passed.
Act for laying the publick Leavy Read first time and passed.
The said Two Bills with M^r Gibbons Petition for allowance
referred together with proposalls touching fforraigners running
up and down the Province pedling in their Sloops and Shallops
&^ca sent down to the house by M^r Tench and M^r Brookes.
The hon^ble Coll Nicholas Greenberry craves leave of the
Board to Retire home for this night, which was granted him.

Tuseday May 21^th 1695.

Covncill again Sate and were Present as Yesterday, Brought
from the house the following Bills which were
Act for laying of the Publick Leavy; read 2^d time & Act
for Reviving of the Temporary Laws of this Province [read]
2^d time and passed.
Act for Assessing 3^d p hogshead for this present year read
first time and passed.
An Act for an Explanatory Act to the Act of repeal of Laws
& confirming all Laws made this Gen^ll Assembly read first time
& passed.
An Act for the Division & Regulating Severall Counties
within this Province and Constituting a County by the name
of Prince Georges County in the same, Read first time and
passed.
Brought from the house the following pap^rs relating to the
3^d p hh^d Viz^t By the house of Burgesses, May the 20^th 1695.
Resolved by the house that the Revenue arising by the
Act for Imposicon of 3^d p hogshead for service of this Province,
