Your Pef therefore most humbly beggs your Honors that
you will vouchsafe unto your Petr the Benefitt of the Cargoe,
or what part is remainetng, according to the appraismt made,
your Petr giveing good security and due satisfaction for the
same; by meanes whereof he may be capable to maintaine
himself and those young men his apprentices without being
chargeable to his Lsps Countrey.
And he shall Ever pray &c.

The Petr being called, and haveing proposed to him who
should take the Shipp at the appraisemt without the goods, he
onely craveing the benefitt of the Cargoe without the Shipp,
He answers that he is willing to accept of both according to
appraisemt and is ready (if he may be admitted) to make the
purchase good or give good security for the same. Where-
upon the opinion of this Board was ordered to be subscribed
to the pet. in manner foll, viz :
By the Councill
Octob: 10th 1685:

Recommended to the psons concerned as reasonable.

The Request of the Pef seemes reasonable to this board
and as such is recommended to the consideration of the
severall psons therein concerned.

Anne Thompson convict for 2 husbands pardoned.

Mrs Anne Thompson the wife of Robert Thompson of
Charles County being Convicted before the honble the Jus-
tices of the Provinciall Court, and adjudged to be burnt in the
hand for haveing two husbands, made her humble address to
this board and prayed their honors Commiseration of her condi-
tion humbly acknowledging her Error therein, and ffaithfully
promiseing amendmt of life and to be more wary and diligent
