Johnson Galley and that she proceed to M^r Stephen Steward's
Ship Yard therewith and deliver it to the orders of Cap^t. Belt.
M^r Hollingsworth requested to furnish Cap^t. Belt with
Water Casks sufficient for the Johnson Galley.

In Council 29^th July 1777.
Gen^t
We have just received M^r Norton's Fav^r of the 25^th Ins^t by
Cap^t David, who brought with him 34 Chests of Arms. The
Boat is not yet arrived. We have again dispatched Cap^t
David with Instructions to call upon you for the Residue of
the Arms in Williamsburg and also the Gun Locks, Tin &^ca
belonging to this State, which you will please to deliver to
him We are &^ca

Ordered, That the western shore Treasurer pay to Cap^t:
Levin Lawrence Twenty pounds three shillings and six pence
Bal^e of Acc^t
That the said Treasurer pay to Richard Ridgely forty
pounds thirteen shillings & three Pence Balance of Acc^t & the
further Sum of Fifty pounds for attendance as Cl to the
Council from the 20^th March to 20^th June Inclusive at £200 p
annum.
That the said Treasurer pay to Major Fulford one hundred
and fourteen pounds eighteen shillings and two Pence Bal^a
of his Acc^t Passed the Board
That the Commissary of Provisions deliver to Cap^t Coward
1 Barrel Pork and two Barrels Bread for the Dolphin
That the western shore Treasurer pay to Thomas M^cWil-
liams seventy three pounds two Shillings & six pence Balance
his Acc^t passed the Board.

Cap^t: Coward. You are without delay to proceed with the
Dolphin to Bladensburgh and apply to Christopher Lowndes
Esquire for the Cordage which he has engaged to furnish for
the Johnson Galley And when you have received it you are to
Carry it to the said Galley in West River and deliver it to the
order of Cap^t: James Belt.
