An Act [for] enrollm^t of Conveyances] secureing the
Estates of purchasers read 2^d & 3^d time
An Act for [securing] Merchants & other Tobacco after
they haue received it read the 3^d time.
An Act for Limitation of Certaine [actions] for avoiding
Suites att Law read the third time.
An Act prohibitting Arrests vpon Sabath dayes & days of
gen^ll Must^r or Training read the 3^d time
Aft Act prohibitting Commission^rs, Sffes, Dep^ty Sffes, Clks
& Dep^ty Clks to plead as Attorneys in the respective Counties
read & passed the house the first reading.
An Act prohibitting Trade with the Indians for any fflesh
dead or alive excepting Deere or wilde fowles, read and
passed the house the first reading.
An Act appointing Coron^rs in each County read & passed
the house the first reading.
An Act for makeing high wayes & makeing the heads of
Rivers, Creekes, Branchs or Swamps passable for horse and
ffoot, read the third time.
An Act for Regulateing Ordinary Keepers & Limitting the
Number of them within this Province, read & passed the house
the first reading.
The aforesaid Bills were sent to the Gouerno^r & Councill
by M^r Boothby & M^r King.
Severall Bills brought into the house by M^r Dent & ordered
to be read, Viz^t
An Act provideing what shall be good Evidence to proue
fforraigne Debts, read and passed the first reading.
An Act for publishing of the Laws, read & passed the
house the first reading.
An Act for Encouragm^t of such persons as will vndertake
to build Water Mills, read and passed the house the first
reading.
The same were sent to the Gouerno^r & Councill by M^r
Boothby.
Comittee of Acc^ts appointed & ordered to goe forth, which
were as follows, Viz^t
M^r Mason M^r Pinder
M^r Hamond Maj^r Tripp
M^r Harris Cap^t Whittington
The house Adjournes till seaven of the Clock.
The house again Mett and present as before.
Message from the Gouerno^r and Councill with Severall bills
brought into the house.
