Seizure of Tobacco by the Sheriff; Concerning Negroes and
Slaves; & for the restraining the unreasonable increase of
horses &c. have all been read here once, as to the Act con-
cerning Negroes &c. it is the Opinion of the Board that the
imposing of Slavery on the Children it seems to be severe,
and rather propose the Limiting their time of Servitude to 31
years as formerly, the rest of the aforesaid Bills (except that
for the restraining the Increase bf horses &c which is referred
to the Conference, are herewith Remitted to the house with-
out Alteration.
