[Council to Bond.]

Sir. We have already more Gun Barrels than Locks, there-
fore we cannot agree with you for Barrels only. But if you
will engage to compleat the Guns, either with or without Bay-
onets, we will agree with you for all you can furnish.

Sir. We have sent to you by Captain Stone Two hundred
pounds, and will from time to time supply you with money by
such persons as you may order the same, we refer you to
our letter by the Post in answer to yrs of the 12th
Nov. 15 th 1776

November 15th 1776.
Gentlemen.
Mr Thomas Sparrow was applying to me abt taking a sum
of money to deliver out occasionally for such Recruits as he
should procure It did not suit me as I should be out of Town
most of this Fall and winter probably. I apply'd to Majr
Thomas Muse of Cambridge who said he would take charge
of it and deliver it out agreeable to -such Directions as your
Board should give or send him. The Majr if a Stranger to y'
Board, is a gentleman of Fortune. I am yr

In Committee of observation. Dorchester County Nov. 15th
1776.
Gentlemen.
In obedience to an order recd from the late Convention we
had several Evidences before us whom we examined concern,
ing certain depradations & outrages committed by Capt
Richard Andrew of Caroline County and a number of People
whom he headed, part of them Inhabitants of that county, and
others inhabitants of this County and on Evidence it appeared
that they searched the Dwelling House and out Houses of Mr
James Sulivane for Salt, that finding only five or six bushels
there, they took none of that but proceeded to Colo James
