Thursday Augt 22d 1776.

Council met. Present as on yesterday.
Ordered That Western shore Treasurer pay Mattw Tilgh-
man Esqr seven Pounds, ten shillings for Boat-Hire, for part
of Flying Camp.
Ordered That Western shore Treasurer pay to Major
Ignatius Fenwicke one hundred & thirty one Pounds six Shil-
lings & seven Pence, for militia on duty.
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Wm Johnson thirty five
Pounds, nineteen shillings & eleven Pence half Penny for Amt
of his Acct
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Peter Rambo for use
of John Young two hundred & eighty seven pounds, six shil-
lings & six Pence for Knapsacks & Guns.
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Pollard Edmondson
for use of Delahay & Robinson thirteep pounds for Boat Hire
for Flying Camp.
Adjd till next Day 10 o'Clk.

Friday August 23rd 1776.

Council met. Present the same members as on yesterday.
Ordered That Western shore Treasurer pay to Captn Uriah
Forrest sixty four Pounds, fourteen shillings & seven Pence,
for subsistence of his Company
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Captn Uriah Forrest
for the use of Dr Reeder ten Pounds, nine shillings & six
Pence for attending Captn Thomas's Company.
Ordered That Western shore Treasurer pay to Captain
Uriah Forrest for use of Elias Smith two Pounds six shillings
& eight Pence for Barracks for Captn J. A. Thomas' Compy
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Captn Forrest for use
of Henry Sewell for thirty three shillings for Traveling
Expences for part of the Artillery Compy going to St George's.
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Captn Forrest for use
of Dr Robinson for five Pounds six shillings & six Pence for
Attendance of his Compy.
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Captn Forrest for use
of Francis Brooke for twenty shillings for services at the Camp
at St Georges.
Ordered that Wm Jacob and Wm Johnson, as soon as they
have a sufficient quantity of Tents for a Company, immedi-
ately send the same to Annapolis, and continue to send the
same in such quantities until the further orders of this Board.
