Dorchester County One hundred Pounds Currency for the
Purchase of Arms and Blankets.

Ordered That the Petitions of Andrew Beall and William
Hamilton of Prince George's County be taken into Considera-
tion on Monday the 5th of August next, and that a Copy of
the above Order be sent to each Party.

Copy of Letter No 83 was sent to Mr Richard Dallam,
Copy of No 84 to Messrs Gordon & Patten of Baltimore Town,
and Copy of No 85 to Mr Gerrard Hopkins (son of Richard).

Ordered That the Treasurer of the Western Shore pay to
Mr Gerrard Hopkins (son of Richard) fifty Pounds to be
accounted for.

Ordered That Commissions issue to the following Persons
appointed Officers of Militia Companies in Skipton District in
Frederick Countv, to wit.

Danl Cresap, Capt.
Saml Hobbs 1 Lt
John Henet 2 Lt

Jacob Heagle, Ens.

Andrew Hynes Capt
Isaac Mekrakin 1 Lt
Ezekiel Cox 2 Lt
Robt Floary Ens.

Charles Clinton Capt
Dickson Simkins 1 Lt
John House 2 Lt
John Hays Ens.

And to the following Persons in Charles County, to wit,

John Thomas Capt Richd B. Mitchell Capt

John Gardiner 1 Lt Peter Farnandis 1 Lt

Henry Lyon 2 Lt William Barnes 2 Lt

Richard Estep Ens. Charles Gardiner Ens.

Caleb Jones of Somerset County appearing before this
Board in Consequence of a Charge exhibited against him
before the Committee of Observation for said County, and of
the Security there given for his Appearance; and the said
Committee not having transmitted the Proofs on which said
Charge was founded, Ordered That said Caleb Jones recog-
nize in the Sum of One thousand Pounds Currency for his
Appearance before the Council of Safety on Friday the 16th
Day of August next; which Recognizance was accordingly
taken.

Ordered That the Treasurer of the Western Shore pay to
Capt Bennett Bussey ten Pounds on Account of his Company.

That the said Treasurer pay to Mr Isaac Griest fifty Pounds for
the Purchase of Camp Utensils for Col. Josias C. Hall's Battalion.

Ordered That the Commissary of Stores deliver to Mr Griest
92 Iron Pots, 7 Frying Pans, 3 Iron Kettles, 4 Skillets and 60
wooden Dishes.

Ordered That the Treasurer of the Western Shore pay to
Mr George Waltz five hundred Pounds to be lodged with the
Committee of Observation for the Upper District of Frederick
County for the Purchase of Arms and Blankets.

Adjourned till Monday morning 10 O'Clock.
