Council met. Present as yesterday.

Copy of Letter No 12 was sent to the Committee of Obser-
vation for Saint Mary's County.
Mr George Ranken delivers to the Council a List of the
Record Books in the Chancery Office which was ordered to be
entered; and is as follows.
List of the Records of the Chancery Court taken by Order of
the Council of Safety for the province of Maryland.

Also to Thomas Ennalls appointed Col. John Ennalls, Lieut.
Col. Robert Harrison 1 Major [Thomas] Muse 2d Major &
Thomas Jones Quarter Master of the lower Battalion of Militia
in said County.

Also to Wm Traverse appointed Capt John Askon Traverse
1 Lieut, Alexander Tolly 2d Lieut & Philips Ferguson Ensign
of a Company of Militia in said County called The Plymouth
Greens.
