Dear Govr
I have this afternoon received a Letter from Colo Bouquett,
acquainting me that Colo Byrds Regt & Colo Armstrongs
March from Carlisle the 29th for Fort Loudoun, They are to
be joined the 4th or 5th at Shippensbg by 5 Compys of Colo
Washington's Regt and one Compy of Artificers from the
2d Regt
I have heard nothing from Mr Prest Blair about Arms &c.
But I am doing all in my Power to extricate myself out of
many difficulties. I shall send to Colo Prathers on Thursday
for the arms and some Tents I expect from Carlisle. I must
beg you will make my Complemts to Mr Bassett and tell him
to be at Colo Prathers the 2d of Iune and to bring the En-
trenching Tools to that place, He is to go to Shippensbg with
them to be under Colo Bouquet's orders and the Compys of
Colo Washingtons will be at Connegogee that day and serve
