Ind: They did intend so & will so do if they can
Mr Iacob Young is ordered to attend this Board about the
25th Day of May next with those Indians
The said Iacob Young humbly moves the Board that having
some Action depending in the Provincial Court he cannot
have Convenient Leisure to inform the Indians what has
passed this day concerning them as is required of him by this
Board & be at the Court likewise in time which may be of
great Prejudice to him
Resolved that an order be directed from this Board to the
Iustices of the Provincial Court to defer the action or Cause
wherein Iacob Young is Concerned till another Court that he
may the Better Pursue the order of this Board in relation to
the said Indians

Upon motion made p Collo David Browne setting forth
that severall of the Countrey Arms sent into Somerset County
are wanting & Concealed Ordered that praecept issue from
this Board commanding and requiring all manner of persons
having had the custody or keeping the said arms or any of
them forthwith to deliver to produce the same & deliver them
to the Chief Milatary Officer to be him Distributed & Dis-
posed of as he shall think fit for his Majestys & the Countreys
Service, & in Case any Person shall be delinquent or Fail in his
Duty in this matter to be bound over to the next Provincial
Court to answer &ca
Memd the Severall Letters ordered this day to be prepared
& drawn up are as follows (vizt)

Maryland. Aprill the 11th 1693.
May it please your Ldpps,
This serves for covert to the enclosed duplicate of ours of
the 21st of December last, chiefly containing matter of com-
plaint against two of their Majesties Officers of considerable
figure in this Province viz: Sir Thomas Lawrence Secretary &
Edwd Randolph Esq. Surveyor General of their Majs Customs,
general disturbers of the peace and quiet of the Province,
We are heartily sorry we have fresh and continual occasions
to make repetition thereof, their insolencies being grown to
that height as to strike at the very root of Government in
contempt of and opposition to their Majesties Royall
authority, insoemuch that we have been necessitated at last
to commit and confine Sir Thomas upon severall Articles of
impeachment drawne up against him which have been suf-
ficiently proved and plainly laid open before us to our general
satisfaction and approbation as to the verity thereof, which
