advice & Consent aforesd that the sd Comrs herein nominated
for each Respective Covnty, or the Major part of them are
hereby Impowred sometime before the five and twentieth day
of March One thousand six hundred Eighty & foure to meete
together upon the Respective Lands & Places, in the act before
menconed, or at some other Convenient place neare there-
abouts & shall then & theire treate & agree with the Owners
& allpsons Interested In the sd Lands & buy & purchase of
the Owners & psons Interested in the sd Lands, One hundred
acres of Convenient Land In the discresion of the sd Com"
least prejudiciall to the Owners, & after purchase thereof shall
Cavse the same to be aurveyd, & after the survey su made, of
the sd One hundred acres of Land shall Cavse the same to be
marcked staked out and devided into Convenient streets,
Laines & allies, with Open Space places to be left On which
may be Erected Church or Chappell, & Marckett hovse, or
other publick buildings, & the remaining p' of the sd One hun-
dred acres of Land as neare as may be into One hundred
equall Lotts, marcked On some posts & stakes towards the
streets or Lanes wth number (1: 2: 3: 4) & so to (100) out
of wch Lotts the Owner of the sd Land shall have his first
Choice, for one Lott, & noe pson shall purchase more then
One Lott duering the space & terme of foure monthes, after
the five & twentieth day of March One thousand six hundred
Eighty & foure & that the Lotts shall be purchased by the
Inhabitants of the Covnty onely, & in Case the Inhabitants of
the Covnty shall not take up the sd Lotts within the times of
