brought into the house

Then Came Mr Secry Sewall from the
vppr house wth the bill Toutching Elections

and Delivers the same to Mr Speaker

In the Instrument under the great Seale Or Ordinance this
day sent to this house from the vppr house was Inclosed the
following paper (vizt)

gesses &c. And Doe Conceive it a need-

less bill, his Lop haveing already settled the number of the
members to be elected in every County & Cyttye Or Burrough
for the ffuture by an Instrument vnder his great seale bearing
Date the sixth day of September 1681: and published the 17th
of the same month as we prsume many of the members of this
Assembly doe remember.

Wherefore This house doe send the Originall Instrument to

the Lower house that if they please they may Cause it to be

Entered in their Journall & Returne the same againe to this

house, and that we may proceed to Other bills now before vs
