the discovery of the murderers of the English at the head of

with our sayd Neighbo^rs sta rmed by Act of Assembly
wee desire to Know what the opinion of howse is in
this Pointe (viz') whether they doe beleeve them
rderers or not, wee desire to Know what the Lower howse
of 11 ppound to us as fit to be done in this conjuncture
of affayres.

The Lower howse having considered the message of the
upp howse touching the psons murdered at the head of
Patuxent in answere thereunto say That by the paps Sent &
Relations given to this howse concerning the same from the
upp howse This howse doe beleeve that in all pbabillity the
sayd Murthers were comitted by o^r Neighbo^r Jndians, but
cannot ssitively conclude by w^ch of those Neighbo^r Jndians
the same was done. thelesse if the Gou^rno^r & Councell
be fully satisfyed that the articles mention sd message
