be Cheated by Presse Masters & Comissaryes in prtending to
have pay for that wch his honor hath bought & payd for already
Mr Steevens & Mr Hatton sent to the upp howse wth the
sayd message in writing they Retorne.
Came the Secry with the accounts Muster Roll & Journal of
the Expedition agt the Nantecoake Jndians.
On the backside of the Go ors account was thus
written, Whereas by the advice & consent of Gournor
Councell & Delegates prsent at the laying of the last publique
of this Province the sume of 20000ls Tobacco was
Depos ernors hands for Repayring of the state howse,
Since wch time of said leavy seu'all accidents have
hapned wch have Required ding not only the said
sume of 20000ls of Tobacco but also the Tob over &
above the sd 20000ls Tob: by the sd Governor as by
the pticulers of the within acct being for the use and service of
Country, The Gournor therefore desires that he may
be discharged from sume of 20000ls Tob: deposited as
aforesd and that the same may be entred in the Journal of both
howses and that the said

may be awarded him out of the publique

The Gou in this howse, This howse allow of the
sa wth the upp howse in their above vote, & ordered
from the sayd 20000ls of Tobacco, and be allowed out of
the pub vy the ballance of his account 11206ls of
Tobacco.
Mr Christopher Rowsby & Capt Marsh sent back with the
sd account.
They Retorne.
Mr Hill & Capt Marsh sent to the upp howse to acquainte
them that our Comittee of accounts are ready to attend the
Members of the upp howse.
They Retorne.
Mr Rowsby Delivers into the howse, the Kings printed
Articles of warre.
Came Mr Woolman from the Comittee of priviledges wth
this pap.
