     Edward Tompson plte whereas there is an Accon entred by the Liber A.

     Mrs Marg: Brent deft plte agt the deft concerning 2 Cowe Calues

    

     (and theire Increase) wch Leonard Calvert Esqr deceased whose

     Executrix the cleft is bound himself to deliver to the vse of

     Joane Tompson deceased & her Children The said deft Mrs

     Brent hereby agrees by herself or her Attorney to appeare &

     Answere the said Accon in June Court next or in case the

     Court then appointed happen to bee adjourned then when the

     next Court for this County shall bee kept and to abide the

     order of Court without further warrant or sumons, and the pite

     doth likewise hereby binde himself then to psecute the suite

     by himself or his Attorney witnes theire hands this 9th of

     March 1649

       16o March 1649 Edward Cotton his marke for cattell and

     Hoggs viz: Cropt on the right Eare and vnclerkeeld on the left

    

       16 Mancij Sould and delivered by mee Margarett Brent

     vnto Edward Cotton one Mare of whitish coullor about fower

     yeare old being shee that was suckled by Nichas Harvies wife

     And I the said Margarett Brent doe warrant the sale of the

     said Mare vnto Edward Cotton or his Assignes from all just

     claymes whatsoever witnes my hand Jan 8th 1648

     and tenne pounds of Tob. and Caske for ffees and the last and

     whence I received it and my body to the grave trusting in the

     Almighty to receive a Joyfull and happy resurreccon at the
