      unto him, wch were these following Viz Mr Cox's cheare acct Liber A.

      375 l Tob: & cask Jno Bennetts cleare debt, by Bill & acct 439 l

     

      Tob: & cask, Hen: Morgans Bill 400 l Tob & cask. ifran: Lum

      bards Bill 260 l Mr Giles Brents acct 28 l wch wth his owne acct

      of 3284 Satisfyed his demand unto him. The Court further

      ordered tht the sd Capt Vaughan should deliur in all the rest of

      the Bills, & accounts of the foresd estate to the Attorney; And

      tht the foresd Attorney should deliur to the sd Capt Vaughan

      the specialties, wch he had gyuen to the sd Hen: Brooks uppon

      receipt of those goods from him, from whence the aboue sd

      summes of Tobacchoes came dew.

     

        10th July. I Leift Willm Lewis doe acknowledge a Judgmt

      to Capt Cornewaiheys & Mr ffenwick gent, for Seauenty flue

      pownd & a quarter of Beaur & one thowsand pownd Tob: &

      cask, Wch iudgmt I desyre may be entred uppon record.

     

      To the Clk 054 l Wittnes my hand this July 1648

        11 July. Mrs Margarett Brent, demandeth of Peter Knight

      mercht 5000 l of casked Tob: for dammages done her, by him,

      in her goods & cattle uppon the Ile of Kent during the hate

      Rebellion there.

        Attachmt to the Sheriffe ret. Octobr Court.

     

        William Tompson of St Clemts hundd in Mary-Land gent.

      acknowledgeth himsehfe to owe the somme of Ten Thowsand

      pownds of Tob: & cask to the Ld Propr his heyres or assignes

      this ii July 1648.

        The condicon of this obligaon is such, tht if Leift Wilhm Sowth

      of Kecoughtan in Virginia, & Rich: Torney of Virg: & eyther

      of them, shall not wthin these flue next ensuing yeares after

      date hereof, attempt to take, or carry away any Indian or

      Indians, out of the precincts of this prouince, wthout leaue of

      the Gour thereof, for the time being. tht then this obligaon to

      bee uoyd, & of none effect, else to stand & remaine in full

      force & uertue                  Sig.
