  Att a Court held att    Capt Edw: Hill demanded from the Gour p. 160

      St Inegos 10th June & Councell the Arrears of what con

      prnt Gouernor  .  —

          Mr Brent  sideraon was couenanted unto him by

         Mr Gerrard Leon: Caluert Esqr for his seruice in the

      office of Gouernor of this prouince. being the halfe of his Lps

      Rents for the yeare 1646 & the halfe of the Customes for the

      same yeare.

        The Accounts of the Custome of the yeare claymed unto by

      Capt Edw: Hill not being att the prnt time to be had. It was

      ordered, tht the halfe of tht yeares custome as far as it hath

      not allready bene receaued by Capt Hill, shall be payd unto

      him, by the Ld Proprs Attorney, out of the first profitts, wch

      shall be receaueable to his Lp And time is allotted to Capt

      Hill to bring proofe what the sd Custome amounted to untill

      Octobr Court. And likewise tht his Receauer shall accompt

      & pay unto Capt Edw: Hill, or his assignes, the one halfe of

      his Rents. due att Christmas next, in leiu of the sd rents of

      the yeare 1646. wch were otherwise disposed of to his Lps use.

     

        13th June. Giles Brent Esqr complayneth agst Cuthbert
