316 Court and Testamentary Business, 1647.
Liber A. peace, their due punishmt att any time, when they shall invade us. And for yor good therfore, what eur wee heare to the contrary, wee wish you shall be none of them. The remainder of yor leuy the Law hath soe fully prouided for you tht you need not doubt yor having it, when Tob: comes payable. The 146 armes length of Roanoke you may please to adde to the claime aboue mentioned, wherein Justice shall be duely administerd vnto you Sr I rest. This 19th June 1647 Yot ffrend Thomas Greene. June 19th The will of Leon: Calvert Esqr approved by Mrs Margarett Brent & the admistra committed to the sd Mrs Mar garett having made oath to bring in Inuentary wthin 10 dayes. And acct afore the first of Decembr next. Vnlesse further time gyuen by the Gouernor And to cause the estate to be praysed by the oath of 2 men
June 20th Robert Holt demandeth of John Bell 733 l of Tob: due uppon acct warrt to the sheriffe to keepe the sd Bell in safe custody, vntill he shall putt in security not to depart out of this Prouince. before hee satisfy the sd debt.
June 21th Wifim Tompson exhibited the last will & testamt of Robt Tutty, & desyres to proue the same. William Bretton sayth uppon oath, tht he was prnt when Robt Tuttey made his last will &c: & signed it wth his owne hand; & tht the will exhibited by Wilm Tompson aforesd is the right will. Thomas Jackson being allso prnt att the same time, deposeth the same The will being proued by the testimonies aforesd the sd Willm Tompson desyres to be admitted to enter uppon the estate of Robt Tuttey as Exequutor & to haue granted vnto him Lres of admistraon of all the Lands, debts goods & chattells wthin this Prouince, belonging unto the sd Robt Tuttey. Ordered by the Gouernor tht the sd Willm Tompson shall haue lres of admistraon of all the debts, lands, goods & chattells belonging to Robt Tuttey aforesd granted unto him forthwth
