Mr Speaker appoynted Maior Thomas Brooke to present
those ffiue Acts now passed this howse, to the Vpper howse
Who returnes & Certifyes the Speaker tht he hath deliuered
them.
Was read the Pet" of Willm Smyth, Concerning his under-
taking of Building a Country howse at St Maries the last
Assembly.
Was read that Act Concerning Willm Smyth made last As-
sembly. (Willm Smyth being sent for into the howse.)
Chancelor Came from the Vpper howse Requesting that this
howse will speedily ioyne wth the Upper howse in a Grand
Committee Concerning the Indian busines, soe to settle that
busines in regard the Governors indisposition will not permitt
him to stay long wth the howses of Assembly.
Mr Speaker answers, That this howse will make their an-
swere immediately.
The Committee sent for downe to attend the howse.
